Highly recommended reading for all terrier enthusiasts: a brand new book by Bryan Cummins, who is the author of several prior excellent books on Airedales.

The Terriers of England and Wales covers breeds from Airedales, on to Borders, Fox Terriers, Bully breeds, to Welsh. Cummins looks at the development of each breed and its historical use, and gives his assessment of its current state. He clearly states his focus is on working dogs rather than show winners. As such, we're so pleased that the Airedale chapter is illustrated with photos of several dogs bred or owned by HWA members.
